Two magnificently contrasting solo piano sets centering on The CUBE's wonderful resident grand piano.
Tom Rogerson uses piano, synths, and voice, combining ambient, classical, jazz, and drone music in an ecstatic improvisatory performance. Each gig is different. Expect transcendence, beauty, space, and some noise.
Support comes from Pete Judge, whose quiet, lyrical, pastoral miniatures have been described by music writer Richard Williams (Time Out, Independent On Sunday) as 'the perfect music for the times we're living through.'

Tom Rogerson is a pianist, keyboardist, and composer based in Suffolk. His forthcoming album, Peals, for piano and voice (130701 Records, November 2026) is an act of memorial influenced by the resonance of bells and the patterns of bell-ringing. It's Tom's first solo album since Retreat To Bliss (2022, Western Vinyl). Tom's first album release was Finding Shore, his collaboration with Brian Eno (Dead Oceans, 2017). Tom was previously the keyboardist and founder of explosive avant-math-rock pioneers Three Trapped Tigers (2007 until their final tour in 2024). Since then he has recorded with Reid Anderson of The Bad Plus, toured in a duo with tabla legend Talvin Singh, and in 2022, he made his BBC Proms debut, performing alongside the BBC Singers. With Three Trapped Tigers and solo, Tom has performed all over the world, at festivals including Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Edinburgh, Brighton, and Aldeburgh, and at venues such as the Roundhouse and the Paris Philharmonie. His pieces have been performed at the Barbican and the Royal Albert Hall.
'An aptitude for riveting improvisation. Creates something wondrous from absolutely nothing at all.'
