The Cube is back with a film party to celebrate the last few days of summer and this time we're going to Texas to celebrate Tejano music legend, Selena! The film that put none other than Jennifer Lopez on the map and solidified Selena's legacy - Gregory Navas' classic might be a paint by numbers biopic, but the timeless music and the genuine charisma of Lopez helps to elevate the film into something else entirely.

Follow the meteoric rise and tragic fall of Selena Quintanilla - a Texas born Mexican-American who surprises everyone by becoming an international music sensation. Filled to the brim with some of Selena's most incredible performances and music and some great 90s nostalgia.

Prepare your dancing shoes as we'll leave the Cube bar open after the film to play some of the singer's best hits. And make sure to come dressed in your best bedazzled brassiere for a costume contest - with the winner going home with a mystery prize!

Whether you've seen the film a million times and have a monthly cry to No Me Queda Más or you've no idea who Selena is - this is the perfect night to get fully immersed in some incredible music and the life of an icon. Anything for Selenas!
