Pictureframes (EP launch)

'Pictureframes seem to slow time down tracing their own mesmeric patterns across rough hued landscapes – they’re odd, melodic and light of touch. If I had to describe it I’d say it’s absolutely gorgeous outsider folk music connecting in different ways to Molly Linen, Syd Barrett, Crescent, Tony, Caro & John'
- Stephen Pastel

Their self released EPs have been championed by BBC6 musics Gideon Coe and the band have recently performed alongside Daisy Rickman, Modern Nature and Dana Gavanski. This show marks the release of their new EP 'Against A Blue Sky' as well as the 'Two EPs' collection (available on CD).

Pictureframes consist of James Bonney (who also plays with improvised kraut/folk trio Double Pelican and songwriter Eva May) Molly Linen (whose solo output is released via Lost Map records) Dan Weltman (of indie pop project Snails), Caio Wheelhouse and Nick Bradford.

Louis O'Hara

Louis O'Hara is a singer-songwriter from Pembroke Dock, whose music finds beauty in the soft details of everyday life. Blending tender folk sensibilities with poetic lyricism and chamber-pop flourishes, his songs draw from memory, family, place and quiet emotional truths.

'A Peaceful Kind of Fun' (Libertino) is a 14-track collection that distils O’Hara’s poetic lyricism, tender folk roots, and subtle chamber-pop flourishes into a deeply personal yet quietly universal debut. Recorded with his band His Burley Chassis and produced by James Trevascus (Billy Nomates, Young Fathers, Nick Cave & Warren Ellis) in Spain.
