            Clean Cut Records and Deaf Cat presents TEAM BRICK + Freeze Puppy + Headfall (Saturday 18th Sept / 8pm / £4) 
TEAM BRICK is one of Bristol’s most promising mavericks. Whether trying his  hand at Tuvan throat singing, improvised noise covers of Outkast or  
instrumental post-rock, the twenty year old is already an accomplished  performer and is sure to keep the audience guessing. Tonight he emerges from  the shadows for this, his first headline slot. An impromptu troupe has been  assembled to perform covers of his new album in a line up that features members  of Geisha and SJ Esau as well as electronic musicians like Mole Harness and  Twocsinak, and Clean Cut head honcho Punksi.  
Support comes from two further acts who do things defiantly their own way:  HEADFALL, a lo fi three piece permanently on the verge of collapse, whose quiet  guitar noise, violin scrapes and echo chamber drumming cushion unnervingly  honest vocals; and FREEZE PUPPY, whose unbelievable mix of classic songwriting,  treated loops and Creole guitar licks, have made him a hit with every audience  he’s played to.
