http://snails.bandcamp.com/ The raffle will include art work by Alexander Bertram Powell. And your compère will be the most dapper Gurkha historian in town, Mr Richie Paradise!!
The project comprises children and young people rescued from Indian circuses as well as former street children and the dependants of prisoners. Many of the children expressed a desire to continue working with their circus skills and this an opportunity for them to develop creative confidence and forge fulfilling careers.
The young people receive high quality training in circus, theatre and technical skills but within a social circus framework. This framework aims to empower the young people through games and creative activities focused on building social and personal tools such as confidence, self-esteem, self-expression, self- awareness and teamwork.
This event will help meet the costs of getting out to Nepal and any excess raised will go direct to the Sapana project.
This is a daytime event from 2pm until 6pm
