If you are a fan of adventure stories, this is a real treat. Tintin and the Mystery of the Golden Fleece is a wonderful live-action take on the iconic comic creation, featuring all the best-loved characters.
When Captain Haddock inherits a ship named The Golden Fleece from an old acquaintance, he and his trusty friend Tintin set off to Turkey to collect what they believe to be a priceless treasure. To their disappointment, the ship turns out to be nothing more than a clapped-out merchant ship. Then a mysterious stranger offers to buy the boat for a small fortune. Tintin wonders whether his friend’s inheritance is quite as worthless as it appears....
Tintin is portrayed by Jean-Pierre Talbot who's expert martial arts skills makes it a joy to watch. Combined with George Wilson's larger-than-life Captain Haddock the film lifts the comic books from page to screen in a film which no Tintin fan, young and old, will want to be without.
