This is part violent teen vampire and part tender coming of age romance. Oskar Kåre (Hedebrant) is a 12 year old anxious boy who craves revenge against his bullies. He falls for Eli (Lina Leandersson) when she moves next door. A pale, mysterious girl, Eli comes out at night, hates the sun and food and doesn’t seem affected by freezing temperatures. Coinciding with her arrival is a series of inexplicable disappearances and murders. Oskar, who is fascinated by gruesome stories, suspects that Eli might be a vampire. By this time a subtle romance has blossomed between the two, and her love gives him the strength to stand up to his aggressors.
