Considered by many to be one ofthe masters of world cinema, Michelangelo Antonioni spent a lifetime creating films which attempted to bridge the gap between art and entertainment, films with pretensions to the high-brow concepts of 20th Century philosophy delivered within the context of a redefinition of popular genres. His death leaves the world with a constantly challenging body of work which has forever raised the bar of what is considered possible within the medium of film.
Tonight we are proud to present a double-bill screening of Antonioni's ceebrated English language films, including a rare 35mm presentation of the legendary Zabriskie Point, still unavailable on DVD in the UK.
