Guitarist Nathan "Nabob" Shineywater and keyboard player Rachel "Rabob". Hughes - both from Alabama, now resident in California - recorded their album for Matador Records while living in a tent. Listening, it makes perfect sense - the slow-motion blues, languid hypnotic guitarscapes, and druggy atmospherics bring to mind a peyote-soaked flashback to Mazzy Star with the big slo-core sky stretching out above. So many stars, they're so beautiful.....
