Sat 18 April // 14:00
Tickets: £20 standard, £16 concessions
Margin Forever is an experimental music and art collective; bringing together promoters and artists behind events like Supernormal, Tough Sell, Liquid Library, Monochrome, Mouthfeel, Enter The Noid and QWAK Club, to celebrate art and culture at the margins (forever).
In what is now perhaps an annual tradition, our double-stuffed all-dayer featuring an eclectic cast sieved from the margins of culture will return to the Cube.
Throughout the day we'll also be experiencing cryptozoological dub; tactile-sensory noise; a guy with blood on his face; absurdist A/V; tightly composed free improv; ambiguously gendered folk dance; skronked-up wank-cadets; textural club-workouts AND MORE
Earth Ball
https://upsettherhythm.bandcamp.com/album/outside-over-there
The wild five-piece ensemble from Vancouver Island bring their spontaneous, psychedelic, ecstatic freak-out detonations. Last year their album Outside Over Here landed in the #2 spot in The Quietus' Albums of the Year.
Commuted
https://commuted.bandcamp.com/album/in-a-waiting-room
Another Canadian! Commuted's intense live performances bring a whole new dimension to his emotionally charged, skramzy bedroom pop. Not to be missed.
Sullow
https://mossytapes.bandcamp.com/album/dedications
Improvising trio of Jacken Elswyth, Daniel S. Evans and Joshua Barfoot; best known as members of the inimitable Shovel Dance Collective.
Jawharp
https://jawharp.bandcamp.com/album/untimely-divorce-of-tooth-gum
Skronked-up, anarchic noise rock that pays just enough homage to their forebears while still sounding entirely fresh and surprising.
Annie Gardiner presents TONES
Accompanied by Joy Kelly on Double bass, TONES comprises drones, harmonies and sumptuous buffets of movement. Though hardly a lyric will be uttered, there will be a song.

Rhizocorp
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYvhPciGBzQ
Riding high after recent dates supporting Cabaret Voltaire, Rhizocorp (The Artist Formerly Known As Sobnorgnost) is sci-fi dance punk at the intersection of lo-fi beat tapes, dub mixing, noise, krautrock, proto-house and parapsychology.
Calico
https://caliconoise.bandcamp.com/album/pulling-my-feathers-out
Transfemme noise artist moulding her struggles into sound. Subtle and delicate; this ain't no Harsh Noise Wall.
mr_hopkinson & PAUL HANSON
Jumble Cru in the hoooooouse. We don't know what they've got in store, but ready yourself for some high concept A/V shenanigans.
Laura Philips
https://www.youtube.com/live/mIrBmHMuFkc?si=MwmactauNtqv4g7e&t=472
Sagittarius, non-smoking artist (of Viridian Ensemble fame). Her work investigates the complexity of obsolescence and precarity as narrative devices using a mixture of photochemical processes, sounds and digital imagery
Molly No-Mates

Alya L (DJ Set)

Fragments of spectral synths and low-end pressure, tracing moods across shifting soundscapes. From ethereal ambient through shattered techno and dubwise excursions.
