The Bong Hive presents
Dir: Bong Joon-ho, 2020, South Korea, 132mins, Cert: 15

Sat 5 April // 20:00
Tickets: £5
The release of Bong Joon-ho’s latest Mickey 17 offers an excuse (as if one were needed) to revisit his era-defining eat-the-rich comedy-thriller Parasite. But what’s more deliciously uncomfortable than one Parasite? Yep - two Parasites!
We are offering the chance to watch the colour and black-and-white versions of Parasite back to back. Of course, you are welcome to buy a ticket to just one version. But if you buy tickets to both, we’ll treat you to a free drink: black (stout or black velvet), white (wine) or peach (bellini)…
Also! We would love to see you in your best Parasite-inspired looks. Please wear colourful costumes to the colour screening, and black-and-white costumes to the b&w screening - there’ll be prizes for the best outfits!
----
Experience Parasite rendered in stunning black-and-white, a process overseen by Director Bong himself, along with director of photography Hong Kyung-pyo. This monochromatic Parasite deepens the strangeness and the pathos of the film, making this very 21st-century tale look like a forgotten classic from 1920s Germany or 1940s Hollywood.
So come and see the Kim family’s odyssey into (and below) the Park household in a whole new light. Don’t forget your scholar’s rock…

Doors open 30 minutes before advertised start time. All film screenings are ad-free and 18+ unless otherwise stated, and start with no more than a 10 min selection of trailers.
The Cube is a membership venue, please remember to bring your card. You can join on the door for £1
