Unfortunately the Tuesday the 4th showing of Dark Horse is cancelled.

Todd Solondz, director of the ironically named, controversial and overwhelmingly positively received Happiness, returns with less of a juxtaposition view on the doldrums of daily life. Dark Horse focuses on working for a family business and the relationships between father and son working in such close proximity. Touching close to the bone at times with an uncomfortable humour and sense of deja-vu for viewers this feature follows the life of Abe (Jordan Gelber) who has fallen into the depths of self pity and loathing, living at home and having has father as his boss both at home and the workplace. Abe's inability to disconnect from his youthful upbringing becomes even more frustrating the more loving his mother is until he finds an equally unlikely dark 30-something female companion. Abe wants to break free into the sea of independent adulthood but can't detach himself from the umbilical cord dragging him back to his childhood upbringings.
