Once again we welcome local (and not so local) talent to the Cube for an hour and a half of stand up, followed by a classic comedy.

This time around, your comedy archaeologist disinters a Bob Hope and Bing Crosby film in the ’Road to..’ series from undeserved semi-obscurity. Two wisecracking ship-wrecked sailors wash up ashore in Morocco, only to have Crosby sell Hope into slavery. He seems to have got lucky as the princess (Dorothy Lamour) wants to marry him ..… what can go wrong? Plenty, especially if bad guy Anthony Quinn has his way.

Rapid fire one liners, comic set pieces and with breaks in the fourth wall in a way only the Marx Brothers had really done before, this film is a comedy treat. To book yourself a stand up slot, e-mail Marian@cubecinema.com
