Steve McQueen stars in the 1968 cult police thriller Bullitt (1968). This is a fantastic chance to experience the full impact of an action packed classic on the big screen.

If you haven't seen it, Steve McQueen is a moody cop, Detective Lieutenant Frank Bullitt running all over town after some Mafia gangsters. Bullitt has to protect a Mafia informant for 48 hours before trial. Sounds simple enough. Except before you can say Dirty Harry, Bullitt's fellow officers and the witness are shot by hitmen. The rising politician, Walter Chalmers (Robert Vaughn), who wanted the informant protected is on the warpath for Bullitt for ruining his pending public glory for locking up the Mafia boss at trial. Bullitt is on the warpath. Mean and mad to catch the hitman and the godfather himself. Expect intense heat, a car chase to gasp at (even now) and the drama of San Fransisco providing the hazy backdrop to the action.
