"Lady Rizo behaves outrageously, but it's her surreal edge that makes her compelling. That and the breath-taking voice." - One Stop Arts

Occupying a mesmerising space between performance art, gut-wrenching song-writing and out-and-out soul divaism, Lady Rizo (NYC) is an award-winning, must-see act.

In January 2010, she won her first Grammy on a duet with acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma that was released on an album featuring Diana Krall, James Taylor and Alison Krauss, among others. She also sings and records with multi-platinum recording artist Moby.

She débuted in the United Kingdom in 2012 and took home the inaugural TO&ST Award, given to the best cabaret performer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She then sold-out in London and brought her side-splitting repartee and breathtaking voice to the West Coast and Melbourne, Australia before recording her début album, Violet, in San Francisco and Brooklyn.

Tonight Rizo plays a rare stripped-back set with Yair Evnine on cello and guitar.

Helene Clark provides our opening act;

Helenē is an acclaimed singer and song writer who has performed at many of Europe's leading concert halls and rock festivals including the Royal Albert Hall - Elgar Room, British Film Institute and Royal Festival Hall.

Helenē's music has found its way onto the fashion catwalks from London to Milan, and features in independent cinema. She composed and performed an original score for the 1920s silent film, Chicago, for the British Film Institute. She continues to gain critical praise for her vocals and song writing. Sounds inspired by country folk and jazz.

A spectacular evening guaranteed.
