STRANGER THAN KINDNESS
(thursday 27th / 8pm / £4/£3)

You are invited to an evening of three solo theatre shows, a trilogy of the funny, the absurd, the moving and the political. Intriguing, seductive and strongly visual, a mix of text, image and music allows atmospheres, intimacies and shifting moods to be felt in each performance. For one night we fall into a world of baseballs, oranges and birds....

joanna brown - everything is squint
As oranges cascade onto the floor and the music sets in, the performance follows a girl through her momentary life, reminding us of those we may never meet and of the things we cannot put into words.

emma bush - can I stay a while and say nothing
With a wooden bird in her hand she leads lost dogs off highways. She returns to bridges and cathedrals and finds her way around them in the dark. She is waiting for unexpected ambulances in the morning.

peter harrison - ten minutes to midnight
A series of journeys, beginning with a man explaining his big idea. We travel with him, up mountain ranges, into the crowds of cities, finding ways to express the unspoken histories that silently cling to our thoughts.
