When Chau and his wife move into new accomodation in a building mainly inhabited by the Shanghai community, Chau begins to fall for Li-Chun, only to realise that their respective partners are also having an affair$(B!D(B
This film is a sweet kiss blown to a time long since over, a time that may have existed only in the movies, with ballads recorded in mono while hand-sewn clothing lies perfectly over the bodies of the stars.
