Fri 20 February 2004 // 19:30

Heads up all lovers of anti-establishment film-making everywhere. Jack will present a lecture and lead a discussion on the DANISH DOGME MOVEMENT, drawing on his extensive knowledge of the movement which has produced such films as "Festen", "The Idiots" and "Julien Donkey-Boy". Based in Denmark for the past 10 years, he has written two books on the subject, a biography of Lars von Trier published by the BFI in 2002, and recently, DOGME UNCUT - LARS VON TRIER, THOMAS VINTERBERG AND THE GANG THAT TOOK ON HOLLYWOOD published by Santa Monica Books. Dogme 95 has been a hugely influential movement in contemporary cinema, and anyone with an interest in film will be fascinated by tonight's event.
