Bunty // Multimos (in Collaboration With Metaluna)

-
Sat 13 October 2012 // 19:30

(Saturday 13 October / 7.30pm / £5)

Is it a gig? Is it theatre? No. It is Multimos. A collection of songs and sounds caught in a web of theatrics which follow Bunty through streets, dreams, TV screens and lullaby machines to create a multimedia journey.

To celebrate the launch of 'Mos 2' (Beatabet records), the second part of her Multimedia album 'Multimos', Bunty will be loitering in the bar sampling your noises from 7.30pm to use in the live show later. Download Mos 1 and Mos 2 here: http://www.buntycamp.bandcamp.com

Musical wild child Bunty doesn’t like to approach things simply. In her own unique style, Bunty crafts hugely imaginative songs using synths beatboxing, loops, toys, sampling and soulful singing in real and made-up languages. Bunty's powerful one woman electro-orchestra combines the rawness of early M.I.A. with the lyrical espionage of Tom Waits and a voice that can sound as sweet as Ella Fitzgerald.
The charming Pip Taylor will also be joining us, singing songs and playing his guitar. Don't let his scruffy exterior fool you - behind the floppy hair and the crumpled suit lies a tender heart and a sharp wit.
We're big on audience participation too; bring your toy instruments along to get in on the jam session in the lounge. We're gonna make some noise!
