(Sat 3rd Dec / 7.30pm doors, 8pm music / £9 on the door, £6 advance)

Sit back, imagine it’s 1969 and let yourself be immersed in the hippie sounds of West Coast America as Heart of Rust take you on a journey celebrating the music of Neil Young, the legendary musician who was enrolled onto the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as "one of rock and roll's greatest songwriters and performers". Mr Young is seen by many as being one of the most influential musicians of his generation and his influence continues to inspire younger generations, earning him the title of Godfather of Grunge along the way.

This widely-praised band will be coming to Bristol for the first time, bringing to life songs spanning Young's 40 year career, from his deeply personal heart- felt acoustic numbers from the classic 1972 album Harvest to the ragged, hard rockin Crazy Horse sound of the Rust Never Sleeps era and beyond. Look forward to an evening of good music as the band pay homage to Mr Young's astonishing song-writing skills, all while passionately recreating the glorious authentic sound which comes complete with a replica of Young’s Les Paul guitar Old Black, a Fender ’57 Deluxe amp, a pedal steel guitar, a leadsinger who sounds scarily like Young, and to top it all off, an essential Crazy Horse untamed raw attitude.

"Anyone who closed their eyes to listen would be forgiven for believing that this was a live Neil Young set" ... Sara Bain “Dumfries & Galloway Standard”
“Their authentic “Crazy Horse” sound, with crunching guitars, trademark harmonies and Dave’s Neil-esque vocals to the fore, was superb."
... Loretta Hobson “Broken Arrow, Neil Young Appreciation Society Magazine”
