"Apocalypse Trilogy" and is widely known for directing Mysterious Skin (2004).
His preference for beautiful youthful bodies sexily filmed in sunset haze is perfect for a hot summers evening... it's a film full of young bodies and sex and fun and a slightly outrageous sci-fi story-line involving the end of the world. Sigh.
