Sat 7 May 2011 // 16:00

(Sat 7th May / 4pm / £8 door, £7 advance)

Join us for a very special day of music, brought to you in collaboration with Lancashire and Somerset records. Expect a festival atmosphere with doors opening early, eight artists/bands, acoustic collaborations in the bar, DJ's till late, and very special Bristol guests.

Headlining will be the magnificent NATHAN BELL (Baltimore, USA) formally a member of the legendary Dischord band Lungfish, the mighty Human Bell, and an early version of Arbouretum. As a solo artist he plays cyclic banjo music, sometimes delayed, sometimes bowed, creating meditative hymns for the soul.
Many of the UK bands associated with the label will also be playing, presenting us with a diverse miscellany of sound, covering everything from the fuzz- infused ambient grooves of KOGUMAZA, to the beautiful chamber folk of McWATT.
Making their Cube debut will also be Bristol's very own MOTES (folk from Headfall, Line and Soeza), along with the cinematic drum/synth duo BEAST, and the hypnotic guitar battles of LAMP.

Liverpool free noise collective MONOBROW will also be playing, plus the minimal guitar/voice/accordion sounds of BLACK OCTAGON.

In short, an eclectic and action packed lineup not to be missed.

*** First 50 people in will receive a Lancashire and Somerset CD with exclusive tracks from all artists ***
