If Symptoms Persist Label Showcase

-
Thu 3 December 2009 // 20:00

(Thu 3rd / 8pm / £5)

If Symptoms Persist Recordings prescribe a showcase of talented artists with one common interest, the love of electronic music. ISP offers an aural cure to treat the body and mind, and acts as a local anaesthetic for the symptomatic relief of anxiety and stress. Expect a mixture of dubstep, electronica, glitch, techno, dub, and live musicianship, all rolled into one evening of pure sonic intoxication.
ISP Contains: Hazel Mills (4 piece band, imagine Jefferson Airplain, Portishead, and Flying Lotus all rolled into one) Bassclef (Live set) Root Elevation (Live set) Appleblim b2b Gatekeeper (If Symptoms Persist, Skulldisco, Applepips) Guido (If Symptoms Persist, Punch Drunk) Peverelist (Punch Drunk) Wedge (If Symptoms Persist, HENCH) and will be administered by MC Shadz (If Symptoms Persist). We also recommend a small dose of the music video for the Wedge and Shadz track ‘Running Away’.

As with other medicines, some side effects can occur. These may include: delirium, sudden anxiety, palpitations, and mental detachment. Large doses can lead to loss of consciousness, convulsions or coma. Some of the effects of ISP may last until the following day. Elderly people may become confused. If you have any questions or are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist, or consult ISP direct.

Free cd and stickers for the first 50 people through the door. T-shirts, records, and merchandise on sale on the night!
