Kate Winslett swept up at the award ceremonies for her brilliant portrayal of a Nazi concentration camp guard whose past catches up with her. Put on trial in 1966, the barrister she faces across the court room is Michael, the man with whom she had a passionate affair with after the war when he was just a boy. Through listening to the testimony, Michael comes to the realization that he can save Hanna from a life in prison, but he has to decide whether he should. The Reader is a story about truth and reconciliation, about how one generation comes to terms with the crimes of another.

The watching-with-baby screenings are for parents/carers with young babies (up to 1 year) to enjoy a movie in the company of other parents and their
offspring. We follow the weekly film program so you don't loose out on the latest blockbusters, foreign language films and classic favourites. The Cube provides an area for prams, baby changing facilities, lowered movie volume and extra lighting in the auditorium.

There will always be a friendly Front of House on hand to help.
