Believe it or not, for a brief time back in the early seventies - in the immediate fallout of the sexual revolution - some actually believed complete freedom of sexual expression on the big screen was just around the corner. Within a few years, Hollywood screens would be bursting forth with nubile flesh and copulating satyrs. All this free love, well, it had to go somewhere. And where else can you look to for a true reflection of our society than the silver screen?

Needless to say, it never quite happened that way… Now, nearly 35 years later, in a climate where it still causes a hoo-hah when mainstream features show 'real sex', let us take you - for one night only - to revisit those heady, optimistic days, with a screening of Gerard Damiano's porno-chic classic 'The Devil in Miss Jones'.

The almost-as-famous follow up feature to 'Deep Throat' (though not a sequel), is an altogether darker piece, following a lonely spinster's suicide, and her subsequent plunge into debauchery as she makes a post-death pact to taste the pleasures of the flesh before she goes on her heavenly way to hell.
