Caught In Time

On an island off the West Coast of Scotland a group of locals have been trying to try to protect an area of the sea from the destructive methods used by the powerful Scottish fishing industry. This is their story, a story of local consensus frustrated by a government too used to listening to industrial lobbyists. A story of great policy but no action.

It was beautifully filmed by Blue Planet and Planet Earth Emmy Award winning cameraman Douglas Anderson (famous for dismissing sharks as 'little dogs') and contains rare and lovely UK marine footage as well as revealing
interviews with the parties involved.

It is a must see for anyone interested in environmental and social
campaigning - or the dangers of too many meetings.

It will include an introduction from the film makers.
