Happenings and Killings present KID CARPET vs LE PANTS
(Fri 30th / 8pm / £5 adv)

KID CARPET
‘I am Kid Carpet, and I am a pop star..’ reads Kid Carpet's website. He has played with tip top artists from Willy Mason to The Dangermouse, and has been playing festivals worldwide since his debut album 'Ideas and Oh Dears' was launched at his local carboot sale in a multi storey car park! With regular Radio 1 and BBC 6 airplay, esteemed remixes under his belt, and a rich booty of toys what make noise, H&K welcomes Kid Carpet and his unique brand of pop for the night!

LE PANTS
It’s hard to believe that it has been over a year since Bristol's best kept secret Le Pants first headlined The Cube. This sold out gig had the auditorium bursting at the seams, with all available floor space filled. Le Pants is innercity cowgirl 60's housewife disco chav madness!! A sexy, quirky,
underground pop extravaganza, who are a comment on society today and of past, all coming wrapped in a ludicrous and innovative package of dancers, home made videos and visuals. Poptastic tunes and dramatic costume changes. If your not laffin, you're not there…..

SUITCASE CIRCUS
Puppeteer Oliver Smart opens tonight's event with his ‘Suitcase Circus’. Oliver has regular commissions to design and construct puppets for theatre, as well as having his work used in film & music videos. Influenced be the miniature circus of Alexander Calder and the films of Jan Shvankmajor, ‘Suitcase Circus’ is a richly dilapidated, miniature menagerie of objects, fantastic and ordinary, and occupies the bizarre fringes of puppetry and object theatre.

DJ WOOKIE
Spinning discs in the bar and will be DJ Wookie, representing the eclectic musical tastes of The Heavy Heads.
