One of those rare singers that transfix you the moment they start moving the air. Her soundcraft shows a breathless segue of beauty, sorrow, tenderness and strange emotional travels. Qu Junktions is so very happy to have this rather fine singer/fiddle player and multi-instrumentalist play a rare set of songs.
She has released notable exquisite artistic albums for 4AD and Capitol as well as guesting with David Bowie, Hector Zazor, Calexico, Eels and recently the amazing Michael Brook. After self-releasing some albums she is now with Young God and has released an album ‘In The Maybe World’ of closer than close atmospheres, ghostly lullabies and poignant lyrics. She is serious but always intriguing and even comforting in her special ways.
