In conjunction with Borderlands and Bristol Refugee Week 2015, The Cube are showing the film Call me Kuchu in order to raise awareness of the reasons for increasing numbers of LGBTI people seeking asylum in the UK. With speaker Fredrick Kkonde an activist and asylum seeker from Uganda.

Borderlands is a charity based in Bristol working with people at the margins of society, particularly refugees and asylum seekers.

As with other Cube screenings, asylum seekers can attend for free.

The Cube is a membership venue. Membership is £1 and lasts for life. Remember to bring your card! If coming for the first time membership is issued on the door.

The Cube is completely ad-free. And all screenings are free for asylum seekers. Please note the feature will start following a short selection of trailers/information relevant to our programme. Doors open 30 mins before the advertised start time to allow time to buy or collect tickets, grab a beer or a cup of tea, and socialise with fellow members.
