Spectres present: Condition in full (AV Show) + John Bence

Sat 4 March 2017 // 20:00

Tickets: £7 advance, £9 on the door

Spectres will perform their new album a week before it's release, and will be transforming the theatre into an intense AV womb of noise and light for this one off performance. 'Condition' is louder and more abrasive than their début 'Dying', but also a real progression. It sounds huge and adds a genuinely innovative and confrontational edge, partly inspired by last year’s remix album, ‘Dead’, which saw everyone from Factory Floor to Mogwai instructed to “kill” the songs from ‘Dying’.

Support comes from John Bence who will also be presenting new work.

"Bristol noise freaks début is a deeply unsettling but utterly compelling listen" 9/10 Album of the Week, NME

"An exercise in noise and melody that will leave you feeling dazed and abused" 8.5/10 Album of the Week, Line of Best Fit

"Dead strips away the elements that make Spectres such a scabrous punishment to show the deceit underneath – that is, they write good songs, apocryphal frameworks that can hold a epiphanous shroud as formidably as a cacophonous storm." The Quietus
