(Sat 28 September / 8pm / £5 advance, £7 on the door)

By popular demand, a swift return for Newcastle's greatest off-kilter
troubadour, raconteur and twisted guitar batterer. Richard Dawson's amazing performance was a highlight of this year's bitterly cold spring, veering from hilarity to majesty in the blink of an eye. Catch one of the few dates on his whistle-stop mini-tour and wonder.

Dublin-born John McGrath's innovative 'glitch blues' fingerstyle guitar playing comes over like Bert Jansch remixed by Four Tet, combining extraordinary technical mastery with warm drones and harmonic effects.

Sacred Harp is an inclusive music of soaring harmonies, made by and for the people. Learn some simple tunes using an easy fa-so-la system and sing your heart out with Bristol Sacred Harp.

Listen out for Ewan MacColl, Peggy Seeger and Charles Parker's magisterial Radio Ballads in the bar.
