(Fri 22nd / £5 / Doors open 8pm)

Hellfire knows no shame. So this month we’re hoping to cash-in on the furore caused by the release of Tarantino’s new film by presenting a double bill of some of the more mind-bending and morally vacant Spaghetti Westerns.
The "Spaghetti western" cycle that came out of Italy in the 60’s birthed some of the most low-down, mean, and downright nasty films ever produced! The films are populated by self-serving sociopaths and punctuated with gratuitous violence. No one can be trusted!

Our main feature is the psychedelic classic "DJANGO KILL" (AKA "If you live, shoot" [Giulio Questi, 1967]). Hellfire-favourite Tomas Milian plays a mysterious loner who arrives in a morally bankrupt small town - Surrealistic violence and trippy editing elevate this above the standard US western. This will be followed by another obscure and psychotropic Euro western. Probably starring Klaus Kinski or Ringo Starr?

In the bar HFVC DJs will be playing masses of Morricone, Spaghetti OSTs, and balearicalisms.
